Training English language teachers course candidates recruitment

The course aims at training English language teachers with scholarships for Roma origin citizen and for other Bulgarian citizen. This training is suitable for everyone who wants to learn how to teach English or to develop his skills in this field, and the instructors are licensed by the School of international training.

The next to come course will be in Sofia from March 6th till April 2nd. The training is opened for everyone wishing to take part, with secondary school degree diploma and a good command of English. The standard training fee (i.e. without scholarship) is Euros 510 (995 BNL).

Full scholarships (including travel and accommodation) will be granted to those of the Roma origin citizen, who prove to have a certain place where they intend, after graduating the course, to teach English to adults (in community centers, in libraries, clubs, NGOs, municipal centers, language schools, tele-centers, business centers, etc.). The scholarships will also be reachable for other Bulgarian citizen, if they want to use their skills in support of the development of their communities. The scholarships are funded by the Democratic Commission at the USA Embassy and by the Bulgarian-USA Association.

The application forms for the course and for the scholarship can be found at the web-site: www.bcdt.bg. The application form contains a short essay. An interview in English is also administered.
